Carbon Literacy for SMEs - Training and Certification

About the Training
Our interactive and inspiring training is designed specifically for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). This training will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to become Carbon Literate, certified through the internationally recognised Carbon Literacy Project.
Training Details:
- Dates: 23rd & 24th April 2025
- Time: 9:30 - 12:30
- Format: Two 3 hour virtual sessions, with an additional 2 hours of individual study beforehand
- Certification: Submit a short evidence form, including a personal and professional pledge, to the Carbon Literacy Project (CLP) for certification.

- The Basics of Climate Change
- Understand the fundamental science behind human-induced climate change and building Carbon Footprints.
- Policy and Business
- Learn about policy position and how acting now can benefit business.
- Carbon Footprinting
- Explore strategies for reducing your personal and business carbon footprint and achieving net zero.
- Communication & Action
- Develop skills to advocate for and implement climate action in your organisation.

Your training will be delivered by Will Marshall MEng MIET who has worked in operations and management in a number of SMEs before transitioning to supporting many more in unlocking their sustainability goals.

- Is Carbon Literacy Project Certification included in the price?
- Yes, the price includes all content and submission of your certification documentation. If you are not successful on your first submission, there is an additional re-submission charge of £10 levied by the Carbon Literacy Project.
- When does my pledge need to be submitted by?
- Your pledge should be submitted within 2 weeks of taking the course, although we can be flexible to extenuating circumstances.
- I can't commit to a full day, is there another way to take the course?

- I'd like to arrange training for a team or group, so you provide this?
