April 2020 will see a major change to IR35 legislation in the private sector when responsibility for assessing the status of contractors will move from the contractor’s limited company to the client making use of the contractor’s services.
All organisations that engage with limited company contractors (whether through an agency or direct) need to act now to prepare for the new rules.
ECOM Recruitment is hosting an IR35 workshop in conjunction with recruitment law specialists, Brookson. You will learn about the new legislation and we will leave you with lots of practical hints and tips to help your organisation prepare its response.
Time is of the essence, so we hope to see you at our event at Manchester on 12th September at 12:30 (we’ll buy lunch).
The new legislation won’t apply to small business (two of the three following criteria) so this workshop might not be relevant for everyone, however, please feel free to attend.
- Company turnover is less than £10.2m
- The company balance sheet shows no more than £5.1m
- There are no more than 50 staff
