🤔 But am I a Product Manager?
Great question. The answer is - maybe, and you might not even know it.
A product manager is someone who is responsible for a product - which is anything that is created to address a need, and has users and stakeholders. A website is a good example of a digital product.
Product Management is an established discipline within tech corporates and startups, and is more recently making its way into other sectors.
This event is specifically designed for those who do not formally have the Product Manager role, but who find themselves responsible for managing a fast-moving website either within an organisation or as an entrepreneur. Chances are you are already doing some product management without realising.

Amelia Bampton
Amelia is a leader in technology delivery. Her career has seen her working for both in-house technology teams and also various global consultancies, in roles such as Business Analyst, Delivery & Portfolio Manager Director and Engagement Manager. Amelia has delivered large-scale, customer-centric tech solutions for companies in numerous industries. She is passionate about helping people find a career that lights them up each day and is an advocate for driving greater inclusion, accessibility, and diversity in technology. Providing her support through mentoring and thought leadership to break down the barriers of entry into the industry.
Lydia Hawthorn
Lydia has worked in digital Product Delivery and Development for 10 years and currently consults with businesses to help them improve flow and create high-performing teams. She speaks regularly at events advocating for Women in Tech as well as her experiences as a Head of Product Delivery. Lydia mentors others in the industry to encourage better levels of diversity in the tech sector as well as being an ambassador for InnovateHer and a founder of the Elevate Women in Tech mentoring programme. Franco Stasi
Franco is a Product Manager at Booking.com in the Taxi Rides vertical. Originally from Argentina, he moved to Italy to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and then spent three more years as a technology consultant. Franco later obtained a Master’s degree in Statistics in the UK and transitioned into the role of Product Manager at CybSafe, a London-based B2B cybersecurity startup. He now focuses on Taxi's Search & Pricing at Booking.com, driving customer loyalty by ensuring travellers find the best taxi to get to their accommodation. Off the clock, you can find him in his motorcycle gear, enjoying his passion for motocross.
Andrew West-Moore
Andrew is leader in Product creation and optimisation. Having started his career in web design & development, his progression through multiple Private Sector organisations led him to hone his commercial experience to deliver user outcomes and business benefits. Through coaching, Andrew has supported people and organisations to evolve, grow and optimise for impact. Aspiring to unlock the potential in people, he shares his experience in the hope that others can learn to take risks, see failure as a growth opportunity and use diversity of thought as a superpower to better themselves.
Tom Parson
Tom works with clients of all shapes and sizes to navigate research, planning and development of their digital products, such as websites, e-commerce platforms, subscription platforms, client portals, and more. Tom runs Huddle Digital, a boutique product consultancy based in Manchester, with clients including ASDA, St John Ambulance, GM Chamber, Age UK, YMCA and the Royal Air Force. When not working in product, Tom also teaches coding and web design to degree apprenticeship students, and is a private tutor and electronic music artist.
