Carbon Literacy is an adaptable framework for a day’s worth of practical tailored training on how to best contribute to tackling the climate crisis, accredited by The Carbon Literacy Project.Over 99,000 learners from 7,500 organisations are certified as Carbon Literate, across all 7 continents!
Manchester Digital and Auto Trader are partnering with The Carbon Literacy Project to develop an off the shelf training Toolkit for the Digital and Tech Sector Toolkit.
The action-based learning covers why climate change is relevant to the delegates and their audience, carbon footprints, which actions have the greatest impact, best practice, communicating climate change and how delegates can play their part.
Ahead of the Toolkit’s launch, we’ll be holding this face-to-face training pilot session, open to individuals looking to experience the training and find out more about how they can get started with delivering training in their organisation.
The training will focus specifically on the solutions which can be put in place to help generate low carbon cultures in the industry.
Be among the first to see how Carbon Literacy can help your organisation put the brakes on carbon and kick-start your Carbon Literacy journey.
We are very pleased to invite you to Manchester Digital’s offices on 21st November from 9:00am to 5:30pm
You are welcome to bring along a colleague who is also interested in going on to roll out the training.
The Digital and Tech Toolkit will be available free of charge to anyone in the industry.
The training is focused around discussions, activities, and pledging actions to reduce carbon. At the end of the session you’ll apply for Carbon Literacy certification!
Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day, and there will be opportunities to meet professionals from other likeminded digital and tech sector organisations throughout.
This is a fantastic opportunity to not only begin your own low carbon journey, but to discover how your organisation can get involved too.
Educating your workforce is one of the simplest and most effective ways to create a low carbon business.
Begin your journey and see where it can lead!
