Meet the Talent: CodeNation x NWCSC

We are delighted to invite you to a joint NWCSC and Code Nation event showcasing junior cyber talent in the North West.

This ‘Code Nation Has Talent’ event is an opportunity to meet graduates from the Code Nation Cyber Bootcamp, who have successfully completed over 400 hours of taught learning and are now looking for their first role in the sector.

Event Highlights:

• Networking: Engage with a pool of fresh talent ready to make an impact in the tech industry.
• Showcase: Discover the diverse skills and innovative projects of our graduates.
• Recruitment: Identify potential candidates for your organisation and discuss career opportunities.
  
  

The aim of the event is to provide the graduates with the opportunity to meet employers who are happy to share their experience and insights into the sector and more broadly cyber related roles and technology.

The graduates have covered skills including:

• Cyber Security Principles and Policies
• Advanced Windows, Linux and Android OS practises
• Attack and Defence planning and documentation
• Penetration testing tools e.g. Metasploit
• Vulnerability Scanning
• Network management (hardware and software)
• Audit and improve existing IT Policies
• Scripting and Deploying Patches

We want to ensure the graduates have experience of speaking to employers as they progress in their career. It is also a great opportunity to talent spot if you have any current or future vacancies you are looking to fill (no recruitment fees!!).

Code Nation colleagues will also be on hand to update on current courses and funding for businesses to take advantage of in the NW.
