It's back!!
The Magento Meet Up is back in play once more but at a new venue. Upstairs at Cane and Grain in the Northern Quarter in Manchester. Yes, that's extra hipster.
This is also a short notice event and yes we know some of you will be on holiday but we just wanted to get something under way again. We are still collating our speaker list. We already have some of the great and the good speaking.
Huge thanks to Andy at Aware Digital for support in getting this going again.
So far we have:
Sam Woods: Head of eCommerce Delivery: PushON:
"Putting MVP Into Practice"
Using an example of something you all do in your day to day life, Sam will be demonstrating a tool to understand how to apply an MVP (minimum viable product) when working through a set of requirements.
Stuart Otter: Head of Technical: Aware
"Imposter Syndrome and How to Keep your Head On.
Marek Kubacak: eCommerce Platforms Consultant
"Embracing the Marketplace Model: A Merchant's Journey"
The shift towards a marketplace model represents a significant opportunity for eCommerce merchants to broaden their horizons and increase their market footprint. This presentation aims to demystify the transition, providing merchants with a clear, actionable pathway to evolve their single-vendor eCommerce site into a dynamic, multi-vendor marketplace on top of Magento. We'll dissect key challenges such as technical setup, vendor management, and maintaining product quality, offering strategic insights and solutions to address these hurdles. By focusing on the scalable capabilities of Magento, we intend to showcase how seamlessly merchants can expand their operations, enhance their offering, and meet customer demands in the evolving eCommerce landscape.
We also have a sponsor so there will stuff to eat and drink! And that's thanks to the super star that is Mark Cooper and our very old friends, DotDigital. They will of course get themselves a damn useful speaker slot

Getting the Best out of Your Partnerships.
I hope you appreciate how diverse the the speaker subject matter is. There is tech, there is project management, self development and business relationships, all of these walk hand in hand for effective delivery.
I would also love to do an event that isn't pretty much white men. If you are not one of them, have something to say and would love a platform to say it, get in touch and I will make it happen
