DAX training

This course will teach you how to create calculated columns and measures using DAX, including how to understand complicated DAX functions like CALCULATE, VALUES and EARLIER.  The course also covers writing DAX queries to interrogate databases.  During the course you'll pick up lots of clever techniques for building data models, including ways to model multiple calendars, parent-child hierarchies and dynamic security.  The training uses Power BI Desktop for editing measures, but is just as useful if you're using PowerPivot or SQL Server Analysis Services (tabular model).  This course is definitely more difficult than our two-day Introduction to Power BI course, and is complementary to our two-day Advanced Power BI course (there is virtually no overlap between the two).
