Job description
The role sits within the User Centered Design team, a multi-skilled team made up of content designers, user researchers, an interaction designer, and a service designer who work across the WRA. The team covers a wide range of work, including:
This is an exciting time to be in the WRA as we are designing an end to end service for visitor levy. You will play an important role supporting service teams with the development and design of this service. By actively improving the digital content of the WRA website you’ll use your editing skills to draft and edit content to help users complete their goal. Person specification
You’ll be key to delivering our digital content approach by a clear focus on a user centric experience.
Most importantly, you’ll help users to find out what they need to know. And do what they need to do, as simply and as quickly as possible by:
- Providing content design support across Service Teams who are developing an end-to-end Visitor levy Service for accommodation providers in Wales
- designing and managing effective user journeys, logical navigation across a wide content library to approved digital standards
- confidently championing and influencing high-quality content
- providing skilled content editing and design, excellent attention to detail, ability to write simply and clearly
- meeting accessibility regulations across GOV.WALES and our intranet, main contact for web accessibility audits
- collaborating with the wider Welsh Government Digital team to support our presence on GOV.WALES
