We have partnered with a company who are revolutionising the automotive industry with their forward thinking approach and innovative ideas.

This has opened up an opportunity in the digital delivery arm of the business within the data team. They have a requirement for a Principal Data Architect to come in and act as the technical leader, working closely with the engineering teams and stakeholders across the wide business to define the how data is used company wide.

The approach towards their data-driven culture is that of continuous improvement, implementing the correct practices and tooling with this; they need someone who is going to be chairing this!

Should you of been working in a Data Engineer role and looking to move towards the architecture side of things we would be interested in talking with you also!

They have a DevOps culture, the mindset towards this is very important, experience in owning the production of your work. The collaborative environment that we have within engineering is always with the customer in mind.

Essential skills:

DevOps or DevSecOps
ETL or ELT concepts
SQL / NoSQL / MongoDB
GCP (Google Cloud Platform) is preferred but AWS or Azure is ok
Cloud infrastructure technologies (Linux, Docker or Kubernetes)
CI/CD Pipelines
Kakfa

The offices are in Manchester city center and their will be a split between remote working and coming into be with the team.
