Great opportunity for a VP Software Engineering to join a tech scale-up in Manchester that create cutting-edge ecommerce solutions for the automotive industry.

The company have been trading for over 10 years, their flagship software platform which is an event driven, serverless architecture built on AWS has grown to the point it now handles overs 5 million unique monthly users and they’ve become the UK market leader in their sector.

The next step in their journey is to grow their product offering and expand into new international territories so they’re looking for a VP Software Engineering to support their growth from an engineering function of roughly 60 people to around 100.

As VP Software Engineering, you’d be given the opportunity to define and own the product development strategy across the current four product teams (growing to 8) and will also be responsible for providing leadership across the engineering community, driving a culture of high performing and happy teams.

This is a hands-off role, but the teams work with the following tech:

.NET Core, React, AWS
Docker, Kubernetes
DevOps, CI/CD

The money is good too – in return they’re looking to offer a starting salary of up to £100k plus company benefits including regular flexible/remote working.
