We are looking for a Delivery Manager who will use their understanding of requirements and feature usage to provide the business with the expertise needed to successfully run, use, and evolve product features. You will be involved in gathering context, use cases and data, to bring structure to requirements in preparation for project kickoffs, and be accountable for the delivery of these projects. You will seek to improve on transparency, accuracy, and organisation of Engineering projects, in order to meet date commitments and allow projects to run smoothly.
Working closely with our Release Manager, Tech Leads, Software Engineers and QA Engineers, you will define, manage and oversee the implementation of project plans. You will ensure estimates and time tracking is accurate, flag issues around slippage and risks to delivery, and report on these things to leadership teams. Your input and insights will also allow us to fine-tune the operations within the Department.

- Previous experience of working on projects within a SaaS setting is preferred.
About the role...
- Being part of an Engineering squad you will act as the owner/champion for a number of projects, sharing product knowledge and expertise.
- You will contribute to the development of a long and medium term roadmap that will subsequently be broken down into projects for Engineering squads.
- You will prioritise and validate requirements through User Stories, establishing acceptance criteria and empowering the squad to make decisions concerning the delivery of new features and enhancements.
- You will lead the end-to-end project delivery for the implementation of product features and enhancements, ensuring timely and successful execution while adhering to project scope, timeline, budget and quality standards.
- You will collaborate with the leadership teams to understand and help define project scope, requirements, and timelines, ensuring alignment between customer and business needs and engineering capabilities.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Drive effective communication between internal teams and clients, providing regular updates, project status reports, and ensuring alignment on project goals and progress.
- You will build relationships with the Engineering teams, Leads and other business stakeholders, to understand & communicate context with regards projects, priorities and decisions made.
- You can manage various dependencies across teams or workstreams (e.g. between web and mobile).
- You will organise project kick-off sessions and regular show & tells.
