We've partnered with a software development company in Manchester to help them find a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in React and TypeScript.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Play a crucial role in building scalable and efficient applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Take ownership of projects from inception, collaborating with the team to design, build, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop front-end prototypes and maintain the codebase.
  • Work on web services and REST APIs, with exposure to GraphQL.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of the company, solving complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discuss technical solutions with team members and stakeholders, bringing innovative ideas to the table.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced developer with solid commercial experience in building complex websites or systems. You'll need:

  • Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Storybook, and Cucumber.
  • A solid understanding of modern development practices, including TDD, BDD, DDD, Continuous Integration, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • A passion for solving problems and creating impactful solutions.
