My client has an exciting Solutions Engineer opportunity with a leading managed services provider specialising in data protection and cyber resiliency solutions. They work globally with cutting-edge technologies to deliver disaster recovery and cybersecurity services across various industries, including legal, healthcare, consumer products, and education.

About the Role:

This position is perfect for someone with a strong technical background in IT systems, disaster recovery, and enterprise backup solutions. As a Solutions Engineer, you would:

✅ Design and lead disaster recovery implementations, tests, and activations for customers.

✅ Troubleshoot and maintain recovery processes, customer runbooks, and infrastructure.

✅ Provide technical support for disaster recovery-related issues.

✅ Work with networking technologies, including pfSense firewalls, IP configurations, and connectivity troubleshooting.

✅ Utilise virtualisation platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V.

✅ Engage with customers to ensure smooth disaster recovery planning and execution.

✅ Document processes and workflows using tools like JIRA and Zendesk.

What They're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

✔️ 10+ years of experience working with IT systems.

✔️ Hands-on experience with virtualisation, networking, and enterprise backup/recovery solutions such as Rubrik, NetBackup, Commvault or Veeam.

✔️ Proficiency in Windows & Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and SQL Server.

✔️ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment & Benefits:
