Six & Flow is seeking an exceptional Lead Strategist to join our dynamic delivery team. You’ll lead in setting the strategic direction for all clients and be responsible for ensuring that strategic direction is adhered to. 

The Lead Strategist will be responsible for ensuring pre-workshop data collection including the surveys and interview processes is completed. You will then run the workshops, prepare the strategy and outline onboarding for the first 90 days of the client. You are responsible for planning sprints and the creation of project roadmaps, leading on complex projects from a strategic perspective supporting the Project Lead. Once strategies are completed, you will sit in on the monthly health checks run by the project lead and the QBRs and provide strategic direction and support.

You will need to ensure that the client understands the strategic direction outlined and are clear on the objectives & success metrics and how they relate to the wider success of the project. You will need provide clarity to clients to help them understand the actions being taken and how they relate to the wider success of the project, providing strategic direction for the client and the team. You are also responsible for helping the sales team to outline project scopes ensuring that the quotes match the desired outcomes and the objectives and the client is trained to use the system effectively so that they retain the system and meet the core project objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Discover and understand client needs to be able develop and deliver consistently high quality  growth marketing strategies including inbound, conversational and account-based marketing
  • Liaise with clients and ensure project deliverables and timeframes are outlined to them in line with the agreed strategy  
  • Ensure strategic campaign delivery to help drive objectives for long-term strategic clients
  • Ensure internal processes are followed when launching growth marketing campaigns and those are maintained by the team.
  • Translate client business objectives into growth marketing tactics and metrics
  • Ensure the strategic direction provided is being followed and achieving the objectives agreed with the client
  • Pre-workshop data collection including surveys and interviews
  • Running strategy workshops
  • Creating strategy documents outlining goals and KPIs
  • Attending monthly client health checks to provide strategic direction for the team
  • Attending quarterly strategic reviews for clients to feed in strategic insights
  • Hold the team accountable to the objectives, KPIs and metrics agreed in the strategy
  • Provide Strategic support for paid media activity - working alongside the paid media manager.
  • Responsible for ensuring strategic direction on complex projects
  • Assists Sales in scoping of projects, including costing, intros to clients and sharing client examples
  • Sprint planning support and guidance for your portfolio of clients
  • Delivering both internal and external training
  • Running calls with a strategic focus 

 

Qualification and Skills

  • A minimum of 6 years’ industry specific experience
  • Experience with strategy creation experience - developing strategies and implementing them across various marketing channels and platforms
  • Expert knowledge of CRM/Marketing automation (HubSpot, however other tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, Campaign Monitor are also useful)
  • In-depth knowledge of Inbound Marketing and automation processes
  • Understanding of paid media methods and best practices
  • Knowledge of and experience with Conversational marketing
  • A commercial mindset with a desire to make change happen
  • Experience working on end-to-end projects
  • Natural leadership skills and is a team player
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose and solve problems or issues
  • Plan and prioritize based on predicted outcomes
  • Understanding of theory and implementation of Account-based marketing
  • Discipline leadership - being a leader in the business in driving strategic thinking and helping the team grow in their understanding of our strategic frameworks
  • Ability to consult strategically with the client
  • Ability to train client groups and provide 121 training

  • A keen eye for detail and aptitude for quality assurance
  • To quickly understand the Six & Flow processes and how to action them
  • Empathy and understanding when working with team members and clients.
  • Be comfortable working with hybrid/remote teams
