Account Manager
Zuko Analytics -
Formisimo is an award winning SaaS technology company based in Manchester. Using our market leading technology platform Zuko, we help online brands understand their website visitors and how they engage with online forms. We give them the insight they need to improve their online user experience, and help transform their businesses as a result.
We’re looking for an Account Manager to help us bring on board new customers and maintain good relationships with our existing ones. The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for our customers, and is the human face of our fantastic product, Zuko. We’re proud of our customer service, and it’s a reason why our clients work with us, and stay with us long term.
Due to the current Covid situation, the role will mainly be remote working with a regular requirement to travel to our central Manchester base for team meetings (typically once a week).
The detailed breakdown of the role is below but the TL:DR is:
- Keep our customers happy and engaged with the Zuko product
- Convert new enquiries via demos and onboarding
- Be the voice of our customers within Formisimo, helping us to understand their needs and figure out ways to solve their problems with our technology
- Join our close-knit, focussed and productive team and contribute to a wide range of tasks
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Build relationships with our customers and keep them engaged with our platform.
- Nurture incoming leads and convert them into paying customers.
- Present demonstrations of Zuko to new business leads and for new users at existing clients.
- Hold regular workshops and update calls with clients to ensure they understand their data, have noticed any new trends and ensure they are using the product to its full potential
- Help customers get started on the platform - troubleshoot any issues they may have (with the help of our top tech team) and get them loving the product.
- Be the voice of the customer - pass on feedback or any observations to the product and marketing teams to help us continually improve.
- Help with miscellaneous marketing tasks.
- Be responsible for all billing and invoicing for clients.
- Represent the company at external events.
Ideal Attributes
- Data savvy - you don’t need to be a data scientist but you must be able to interpret the data coming from Zuko and tell a customer what it means for them.
- Excellent communication skills - you have extremely capable communication skills, both written and verbal. We communicate with our customers both via in-app messaging, email, on calls and in person.
- Marketing exposure - you will understand the basics of how a marketer thinks and what may appeal to them from Zuko.
- Self starter - you’ll be comfortable working in an environment not restricted by excessive processes and clear job roles - you’ll often be doing tasks for the first time and building a process as you go. You’ll also be comfortable taking initiative to win over a client or sign a new customer, and won’t need to wait around for permission to do brilliant work.
- You are great at time management - often you’ll be juggling multiple clients and many urgent issues and tasks and will have to know what to prioritise when everything seems important.
- Code familiarity (we realise this one may be a stretch but we’re putting it in anyway) - on occasion you will speak to customers who are having issues with their set up. A knowledge of the basic logic of html and / or other code will help diagnose the issue and get them up and running.
Who are we looking for?
One of the advantages of working for a fast paced tech company is the speed at which you can learn and progress. We know that sometimes all you need is to be given that first chance to let you fly. This is why we are open to different levels of experience in this role - we can mould it around you as long as you have the attributes we need. You may be a relatively recent career starter with some client experience or you may be a highly experienced B2B software account manager with many years of experience (or somewhere in-between). If you think you fit the requirements then please do apply.
Of course, speaking transparently, your relative level of experience will dictate the salary for the role. You’ll note that we haven’t listed an exact salary as there is a pretty broad spectrum depending on how quickly you can hit the ground running. We are more than happy to have an open and honest conversation about this directly with candidates during the recruitment process.
Benefits
As well as the opportunity to work for an exciting tech company we offer:
- Flexible working hours.
- Competitive salary dependent on experience.
- Monthly wellbeing stipend to spend on something that benefits your mental or bodily health.
- Autonomy, ownership and a flat management structure mean your opinions will be listened to and you’ll have a big impact from the start.
- Your ideas to be taken seriously and valued, and have your input directly affect the future of our company.
- To have the space and autonomy to manage your own workload and priorities, and be able to enact your ideas and improve on our current way of doing things.
- A high level of company transparency - company profit and loss, budgets and more are all shared in our open and honest working environment.
- A close-knit, focussed and productive team.
- Opportunity to own a portion of the company through our staff share option scheme.
- Working with household name brands like Experian and Capital One as well as clients based across the world.
- All the incredible experiences of working at an agile technology company - dizzying highs, and buckle-down-lows, but never boring.
If this sounds like you then please send us your CV, ideally with a few sentences about how you fit the role.
Sorry, no recruiters please.
