The business has been the leader and innovator in the sector for decades with more than 50 years’ experience and 18 branches nationwide.
Absolute worked closely with Indespension throughout the project, starting with brand auditing and in-depth workshops to uncover their key points of difference. With an established workforce, their vast amount of product knowledge became apparent, leading to the creation of the ‘We’re in the know’ campaign strapline.
“We believed in building a synonymous connection with the Indespension name throughout the re-brand, so creating a system which integrated the ‘in’ brand device within the messaging, which could then be simply executed, was a defining idea within the process” explains Absolute Creative Director, Simon Allman.
The brand has taken a refreshing yet distinctly Indespension step forward. Introducing a new modernised logotype, updated red, blue and white colour-way, alongside a dynamic typeface which incorporates the ‘in’ brand device.
Managing Director Chris Claydon-Butler from Indespension says: “We first started working with Absolute on a digital project to improve our website, however they took us on a journey which far exceeded our expectations.
They’ve produced a modern identity which works for both our customers and trade partners and truly reflects our ambitions. We’re looking at expansion and future growth and our new brand will help us do just that.”
Absolute MD Chris Hodgen adds: “Indespension is a great business with a 50 year heritage offering a fantastic service, but it was in need of a rebrand and reposition. We’re really proud of how everything looks and the work we’ve done for them to date.”
The new brand launched initially in July 2020. Assets are being rolled out across the Indespension websites, social channels, the company’s head office, as well as all external sites including their nationwide branches, with the full re-brand expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
Absolute’s latest work for Indespension, the current #staycations campaign, has just launched across social and digital channels. It will promote Indespension’s camping and utility trailers, towbars and roof boxes ahead of the summer escape.
