Blueprint launches new website for Bolton NHS Healthy Schools
Manchester developers Blueprint Web Tech have just completed an exciting new project with the NHS. The Bolton Healthy Schools website, www.boltonhealthyschools.co.uk , was launched on Tuesday 27 March during a reception held at the Reebok stadium. The event was attended by Bolton’s mayor, Noel Spencer MBE and Deputy Director of Public Health, Lesley Jones.
The website will provide a wealth of information on healthy living for teachers, parents and children. Blueprint focussed on creating a great user experience for the website’s visitors, including a friendly design and well organised content. By selecting one of the best available web Content Management Systems, Blueprint ensured that the Healthy Schools team could easily update their constantly changing materials, as well as upload photos, videos and other media.
Healthy Schools Co-ordinator, Marie Bisset said: “A huge thank you to Blueprint for the production of the website. Everyone is delighted with it and we look forward to developing it still further, as we have many more ideas!”
Blueprint Director (and former pupil of Bolton’s Smithills School), Phil Gilligan said: “It’s been a great a project! We always enjoy working with the NHS and seeing information technology being used for good causes that have real potential to improve people’s lives.”
