Manchester Umbraco Web CMS Meetup Rebooted!

By Agidea Ltd

The hugely popular Manchester Umbraco Meetup is being rebooted on Wednesday 30th November. The 240-strong group has recently appointed Blueprint Web Technologies CEO, Sam Flanagan, to chair the meetup and organise a regular programme of new events.

Umbraco is one of the most highly respected and fastest growing web Content Management Systems (CMS) currently available. A hit with developers, designers, decision makers and end-users alike, the system is widely used by many big name Manchester agencies, brands and public sector organisations.

The Manchester Umbraco Meetup is a networking group for Umbraco developers, end-users, technical project managers and business decision makers in the North West.

Sam Flanagan said he was “excited and humbled” at being asked to chair the group and invited the Manchester digital community to “Come along, have a chat and a beer with other fellow Umbracians. Feel free to bring along your laptop and troubles and we'll try and help out. Find out what's happening in the community and maybe we can get some special guests along occasionally. Any Umbraco newbies will be welcomed with open arms.”

The group is open to all and sundry who have an interest in web development, Umbraco and/or content management systems (CMS) in general.

Umbraco: Intranet Saviour? - Alex Flahive @AlexFphoto

Sharepoint. Sharepoint. Sharepoint. Imagine a world where you can only develop in a system nobody likes or understands. We lived in that world for years and have only recently escaped. Barely alive!
