Aware Digital has taken office space at incspaces in Manchester City Centre.
The ecommerce agency has its headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent but has given itself a presence in Manchester in recognition of the city’s status as the UK’s biggest technology hub outside of London.
The company has initially taken up a five-person office at incspaces’s location on Mount Street close to Manchester Central Library, but with scope to take more room as the business now looks to recruit multiple web developer, marketing and account manager roles.
Andy Jones, co-founder and director at Aware Digital, said: “Manchester has rightly gained a reputation as an outstanding city for businesses in the creative, digital and technology industries to grow and thrive in recent years.
“It made sense then for us to grow our footprint by renting space in the city centre, as having a base in Manchester opens up a huge range of opportunities for us to grow as a business and become more established in a growing tech scene.
“Furthermore, Manchester and the surrounding area is also home to some outstanding talent. We would love to hear from both experienced talent who are already doing great work as well as budding marketers and developers, who will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in a competitive job market, as we begin to take on more clients.”
Allysia Hunter, general manager at incspaces, said: “We're thrilled to welcome Aware Digital to our Incspaces family, where their new workspace is more than just an office. With everything they need for daily business at their fingertips, the team will also be able to enjoy our weekly breakfast bars, and community events - all under one roof and only a stone's throw from St Peter's Square.
“We can't wait to see what is next for Aware Digital and know they will thrive with us at Mount Street!”
