Fast growing Enspec Power has opened a new office in Manchester city centre.
The 7th floor base within Four Hardman Street has the capacity to accommodate 18 staff.
Along with its new 3,670 sq ft Spinningfields office, Enspec has its headquarters in St Helens and a base in Washington in the north east.
The power engineering company expects to almost double its workforce to 60 by the end of this year, having delivered 45% revenue growth to £5.4 million in 2024.
CEO Mara Rastall said: “After months of anticipation we’re delighted to be fully settled in at Four Hardman Street.
“We believe taking this five-year lease will complement and enhance Enspec’s operational expertise, giving us a great chance of achieving our bold future ambitions.”
She added: “From our stunning workspaces to the hands-on training and demo area for our Point-on-Wave Switching device, this is a space where ideas come to life.
“It’s everything we hoped for and more as we are also located in one of the most vibrant areas of the city. And it’s pleasing that our energetic and creative team has quickly made it their own.”
Enspec’s clients include large energy generators such as major wind farms, solar farms and hydro plants and major energy consumers including manufacturers, data centres and hospitals.
Services provided by the company include power system studies, power quality analysis, renewable energy consultancy and site maintenance.
The new office move comes after Enspec announced a significant milestone in the company’s strategic growth plan in January - the launch of a brand-new Engineering Department.
It is expected that the engineering department will grow from five to eight as the year progresses.
