Manchester based content agency, Trunk, will mark its first birthday with a move into new premises after an opening year of outstanding growth. Led by Managing Director Adam Britton, recently named ‘Rising Star’ at the MPAs, the business has gone from strength to strength with its agency to agency model.
Since its inception in November 2016 Trunk, owned by Big Brand Ideas, has become one of the region’s most exciting and fastest-growing content agencies, growing from just two staff to ten in twelve months.
Over the past twelve months Trunk has partnered with PR and marketing agencies to deliver campaigns for the likes of Morrisons, Mersey Rail, National Youth Advocacy Service, Paddy Power and many other household brands.
After a progressive year in Beehive Lofts, Trunk’s move will quadruple their office footprint and add a rooftop terrace, providing a unique space that will be used for client events and inspiration sessions. The move will take place on 1st November, marking Trunk’s first year in business.
Adam Britton, managing director, said: “We’ve had an outstanding first year in business and this is only the beginning.
“The team we’ve put together at Trunk in just one year is extremely talented: Our design director has 22 years’ experience working with the likes of EMI Records, Mars and Nokia; Our producers have worked for BBC, Paramount and Warner Bros Studios and one has actually won an Oscar; Our head of film has worked with Busta Rhymes, Nas, Damian Marley, Chris Brown & Sean Paul, as well as projects for BBC, NHS, Disney and Virgin; and our creative director has worked on integrated campaigns for American Airlines, Nestle, Aldi, Vimto, Sofology, Irn Bru and Drinkaware and is the founder of One Minute Briefs.
“We have an industry leading team and it’s showing in the creative work we’re producing. Our business model focuses on delivering great creative working across film, animation, TV, gaming, apps and social media. We help brands realise their business objectives via our intelligent approach to content creation.
“We have clear growth plans for the future and will continue to expand in line with strong market demand.
“To be recognised coincidentally too at the MPA Awards has added to the celebrations. The competition was extremely tough, so I’m flattered to have won, but I have the whole team to thank for this. Trunk has been so successful over its first 12 months because of their great work.”
In addition to its move to new offices, Trunk will also be celebrating its first birthday as the headline sponsor of #OMBLIVE4.
Now in its fourth year, the annual event from One Minute Briefs is heading to London for the first time this year. Taking place on Thursday 2 November, #OMBLIVE4 will bring a night of networking, creativity, awards and talks to 83 Rivington Street, London. Key figures from the creative industry will be giving talks, including Nick Entwistle, creative director at Trunk, founder of One Minute Briefs and co-founder of Agency Quotes.
Adam Britton said: “OMBLIVE is always a great night in the creative industry calendar. I’m looking forward to hosting the event, meeting up with some of the fantastic people we’ve already been working with to celebrate the last twelve months and to meeting some new faces too.”
