Manchester-based content agency, Trunk, has been awarded highly commended in the ‘Small Agency of the Year’ category at the exclusive Northern Digital Awards 2018.
The agency has gone from strength to strength since its inception only 15 months ago, in which time it has secured a number of high-profile account wins and increased its headcount so rapidly it had to move to larger premises.
Trunk has quickly become one of the city’s fastest growing content creators, thanks to its agency to agency model, moving to the Royal Mills development in Ancoats last year after it out grew its first office space.
The win also comes just months after its managing director, Adam Britton, received the ‘Rising Star’ award at the MPA awards (Manchester Publicity Association).
Adam said: “The competition in the agency category was extremely strong so we couldn’t be prouder to be highly commended on the night. The calibre of creative and digital agencies in the North is undoubtedly one of the highest in the UK and this was reflected at the event.
“We have an extremely talented team at Trunk which continues to grow and we’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the UK’s largest agencies. Our team has years of experience, whilst the high level of emerging talent in and around Manchester allows us to combine this experience with talent, innovation and passion.”
The award was one of only two special highly commended awards given by the judges on the night. Trunk also picked up ‘Best Low Budget Campaign of the Year’ with customer engagement agency Big Brand Ideas for its work on ‘The C-word’.
