Code Computerlove (www.codecomputerlove.com) has created a microsite for First TransPennine Express (FTPE) to support its status as an "official supporter" of the 08 Liverpool European Capital of Culture http://www.tpexpress.co.uk/Liverpool08-Capital-of-Culture/The microsite promotes the City of Liverpool as the 2008 Capital of Culture; highlights events being hosted; publicises the services FTPE provides to the city and encourages people to attend the events using FTPE trains. It also provides clear links to the official Liverpool 08 site. Throughout the year, First TransPennine Express is also running a series of prize draws on the site offering train tickets to the city and event tickets. Code’s FTPE account manager, Ian Rabagliati said: “We created a series of dedicated pages on the FTPE website to support the festival. Pages include event guides, detailed tourist information providing ideas on things to do when you’re in Liverpool - from places to eat and drink to tourist attractions and places to stay – and showcases the advantages of using FTPE services over other modes of transport.“The creative follows Code’s hugely successful ‘This Way’ campaign to convey the key message of Liverpool this way from as little as £8 each way.”
