CTI Digital Expand Manchester HQ, Relocating to 13,000 sq ft in Two Express Building

Manchester-based digital agency, CTI Digital, will relocate their head office to the newly refurbished Two Express in Ancoats. The move sees the agency’s office space more than double in size, to accommodate company growth and an expanding breadth of client services.

CTI Digital has grown rapidly throughout the past year, achieving a record-breaking sales quarter and new client wins, which led to the acquisition of eCommerce agency, Nublue. CTI’s new headquarters will accommodate their growing team, with space for 150 staff to work in a functional, collaborative environment.

CTI HQ will remain in the heart of Manchester city centre, moving to Two Express on George Leigh Street in Q4 of this year. The building is owned and managed by PJD Group, along with neighbouring One Express which is also undergoing major refurbishment. The redevelopment of both buildings will create a new business hub, featuring a mixture of co-working space and standard accommodation, as well as a coffee shop and gym upon completion.

Nick Rhind, CEO at CTI Digital, comments: “We have been based on Dale Street since 2014 but, as we realise our ambitious growth strategy, it became clear that we needed to invest in a new home. We chose Two Express for its massive square footage all on one floor, as it is important for us to keep our team together, to foster a multidisciplinary working environment. It was great to meet a landlord who was ready to realise our vision of a truly collaborative space in the heart of the city.”

The flexible work space has been designed to include breakout areas, pods and meeting rooms, with a pool table and bar area at the heart of the operation. A significant area of the 13,000 sq ft open-plan office design accommodates an events space for up to 150 people.

Following the success of CTI’s on-site training days, the agency has invested in creating an events space three-times larger than their current auditorium. This new arena will enable the agency to continue to host community-based development sprints, networking sessions and popular in-house social events.

To support their celebrated Digital Strategy service offering, the new office will also house a custom-built User Experience (UX) testing lab. The testing facility will feature state-of-the-art eye-tracking and biometric technology, alongside a flexible workshop area to support the agency’s renowned Discovery process.

Matt Smith, Head of Strategy at CTI Digital, comments: “The new User Experience lab will enable us to extend our already popular UX and strategy offering. We pride ourselves on taking the time to understand clients’ business requirements, which will be enhanced by our new collaborative workshop spaces. As the fastest growing area of the business, we are excited to embrace the latest technology to optimise every project for the end user.“

The new facilities will be available to rent, enabling clients and local businesses to access industry-leading user-centric practices.

Nick Rhind continues: “Our new office will allow us to play an increasingly active role in the Manchester tech community, by hosting events and providing access to state-of-the-art testing facilities. This move ushers in a new era for CTI, helping us to work closely in partnership with clients, in a space designed to further develop our unique service offering.”
