CUNNING PLAN WINS GLOBAL BRIEF TO MANAGE ENERGIZER MOBILE SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS

Avenir Telecom, licensee of the world-famous battery brand, Energizer®has confirmed that Manchester based creative agency, Cunning Plan will manage its global social media strategy after winning the business in a four-way pitch.

 

The win comes on the back of Cunning Plan’s successful campaign to launch of Energizer®mobile phones in the UK last month, with an integrated PR and digital media strategy. The Altrincham-based agency has extensive mobile experience and has previously won awards for its work with the JCB Toughphone and more recently launched the innovative children’s smartphone, Monqi in October 2017.

 

The 12-month retained business, starting in July, will see Cunning Plan create content that will appeal globally, supporting existing territories and encouraging new ones for the emerging mobile phone brand. As well as creative knowhow, the agency will also be responsible for managing the advertising budget and helping to grow audiences substantially in the next year. The goal is to raise awareness of Energizer®smartphones and feature phones globally, ads and content are being rolled out in key territories throughout the year with particular care taken to ensure content works across multiple markets and cultures.

 

Avenir Telecom has been a licensing partner with Energizer®since 2010, its latest range of handsets includes 14 different, long-lasting devices, which varies from rugged smartphones to retro flip phones priced from £14.99-£399.99. The new devices promise to shake-up the low and mid-range smartphone space giving consumers long-lasting battery power, durability and great features – at an affordable price.
