Manchester-based digital agency, Dark Horse, has appointed Dave Karellen as their new Head of PPC to grow their established PPC service offering for their clients. Karellen will oversee the growth of the agency’s PPC clients that have included Jura Watches, Function 18, Perfume Click and Viking Tapes.
Karellen will be responsible for the management of paid media strategy across search, shopping and display, bringing almost 10 years of experience working in the PPC industry. Karellen was previously the Head of Paid Media at Click Consult before moving over to the Dark Horse team.

The Dark Horse agency was founded in January 2020 and in its first year has seen fast growth at a time where more brands are turning to experts for their digital strategies. In the second half of their first year, the agency increased turnover by 50% and are seeing a predicted turnover of £1.5million by December 2021.
