After the universally positive feedback from our first three digital networking events this year, it's time for a 'Summer Social' networking event, on 6th July, at incspaces in Manchester.
digitalThursday, restarted in March has grown to consistently attract 60+ attendees and has had great feedback. We’ve seen designers, developers, agencies and startups attending, and heard from London-based incubators, funding groups and financial startups.
The format is informal, we ask people to network, not sit and listen to long talks. As such, the talks are kept to less than five minutes and time is given up for individuals to stand and pitch themselves for 60 seconds.
On the 6th July, we’re moving the venue to superb new co-working space at incspaces in Albert Square, which fits our event perfectly.
There are already collaborations and partnerships forming from the group. Our business, dotClassrooom is now developing a unique recruitment service with True Worth Consulting; offering onboarding, training and mentoring to new candidates to back up a 12 month rebate period. This will de-risk recruitment and provide a great service, especially to those in their early careers in digital and tech.
