Manchester agency Fluid Digital has launched a new ecommerce website for bohemian jewellery company ChloBo whose designs have been worn by female celebrities including Ellie Goulding, Cheryl Cole, Una Healey and Rochelle Humes.
ChloBo products can be found in nearly 200 leading independent jewellers and luxury boutiques across the UK and Ireland. However, the company is keen to take a greater share of the online jewellery market by driving sales of its pieces from the Instagram generation.
The brand supplies hand-made 925 sterling silver and gold-plated pieces with a bohemian style that takes inspiration from travel and the symbolic meaning from the charms it designs. All items can be stacked so that wearers can build a story reflecting their own unique journey through life.
Operating on the Magento 2 platform, the new site has a completely redesigned look and improved user experience. Alternative payment method Klarna is also fully integrated enabling ChloBo’s target market of fashion lovers to spread the cost of their purchases interest free.
Dave Rosalski, ChloBo CEO, said he was excited about the potential the new site offered due to the vast online opportunity for fashion products.
He said: “The market we operate in is driven more and more by online influencers, celebrity culture and the popularity of trends on Instagram. In this world, image is everything so we needed a site that was as beautiful as our products. We also needed to provide great functionality as online consumers don’t want to waste their time on a site that’s difficult to navigate. Lastly, we needed to ensure that the newest payment options were available and that’s why Klarna has been integrated. It offers a lot of flexibility to consumers to spread the cost or pay later so they can keep on top of the latest trends and styles.”
Adam Hindle, Managing Director of Fluid Digital, commented: “This was a brilliant project for the team to work on and the initial results are very encouraging in terms of traffic and conversion rates. These should continue to grow as word spreads online and we are delighted to have created a site that does fantastic justice to a brand that needs to portray the perfect image.”
