Manchester digital agency Fluid Digital has been selected as an official partner to the Magento ecommerce platform, becoming one of just nine in the North and 40 nationally out of thousands of agencies.
The news comes after a clutch of award wins and nominations and growth for the ecommerce specialists in 2016 with new clients including global healthcare brand Hartmann, worldwide toy distributer Sambro International and international clothing wholesaler Whispering Smith.
The Magento ecommerce platform is the most popular with companies selling goods online worldwide due to the ease at which customers can make purchases. Digital agencies who excel in using Magento when building websites have a clear advantage. Inclusion on the partnership scheme is limited to those agencies with the highest levels of Magento expertise in their team.
Adam Hindle, managing director of Fluid which has offices in Bury and Manchester City Centre, said of the announcement: “We are obviously delighted to have been awarded Magento Partnership status as it recognises our specialist ecommerce skills and dedication to providing our clients with the highest levels of service. The selection process is tough and only those agencies who meet Magento’s strict criteria are approved. The aim of the scheme is to set the standard for agencies building ecommerce websites and our inclusion is recognition of the fact that we are leaders in this field.”
Fluid Digital continues to go from strength-to-strength and as well as having several Magento certified website developers has a new head of PPC (pay per click), David Moorcroft.
In 2016 Fluid won several ecommerce awards including Ecommerce Developer of the Year at the Digital Entrepreneur Awards, Sports Leisure and Toys Ecommerce Website of the Year at the Northern Ecommerce Awards and Best Ecommerce Website at the Northern Digital Awards, which it also won in 2015.
The company has also been nominated for two 2017 Northern Digital Awards: Best Small Digital Agency and Best Ecommerce website for the third year running.
The last 12 months has seen the Fluid team grow from six people to eleven to service new and existing business. Fluid Digital has been operating since 2009 and long-standing ecommerce clients include Trutex, Moda Furnishings and Bargain Max.
