2022 was an exceptionally busy and successful year for Huddle. We were keen to grow the technical team further and by the end of the year, we were in a position where we were ready to hire.
I had been tutoring Clare Marsh in web development for a couple of months by this point and believed that she’d be a great fit with the current development team. So after a couple of informal chats and an interview, we offered her the role and Clare started with us as a Junior Developer in January 2023.
Clare studied sound engineering at university and enjoyed problem solving and the methodical approach to the work, both of which stood her in good stead when she made the move into coding. After a few years out of education, Clare began craving an intellectual challenge and with a growing interest in coding due to her brother’s work in the area, Clare took on part-time study with me alongside her previous job.
In a very short space of time, Clare has shown great aptitude and is already producing work for clients. She has a real thirst for knowledge and is motivated by self-improvement so we’re really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Clare and we’re delighted that she’s a part of the team.
