Greater Manchester Nurse Nominated for a TalkTalk Women in Tech Award!

A Nurse turned Workplace Wellbeing Consultant from Stockport has been nominated for this year’s TalkTalk Northwest Women in Tech Awards. Back bigger and better this November for its second year, celebrating the achievements of women working in the technology sector across the region.

Nominations were invited from the public this summer across six award categories: Rising Star, Innovation / Innovator, Tech for Good, Mentor of the year, Team of the year, Outstanding Achievement Emma-Louise Fusari, 41, the founder of In-House Health, has been shortlisted in the Tech for Good category for developing her data-driven workplace wellbeing services that help business leaders establish and eliminate the root cause of issues such as work-related stress and employee burnout.

Emma-Louise said, “I’m extremely proud to have been nominated for this award, especially as it’s my 20th Nursing Anniversary this year too. I would like to thank my nominators for putting me forward and TalkTalk for their efforts to bring these awards together and for championing women in tech, especially in the Northwest.”

Having built a WellTech company that allows her to use her nursing knowledge and experience to improve the health, wellbeing, social and financial outcomes for people and the businesses they work in. Emma-Louise is now based in HOST in Salford’s Media City, working with and supporting organisations through her newly developed M.E.T. A. Wellbeing Audit and 12-Month M.E.T.A Programme®.

“To be recognised for doing what I love, which is positively impacting the lives of those I have the pleasure of working with and supporting, is truly humbling. For others to see and share my vision is phenomenal and to be acknowledged and celebrated in a tech award is also pretty cool,”
added Emma-Louise.


The TalkTalk Northwest Women in Tech awards will take place at First Street Bar and Kitchen on Wednesday 2 November and will be hosted by Tristia Harrison, CEO of TalkTalk, and the awards will be presented by entrepreneur Gary Neville.

A winner in each category will be announced on the awards night itself, however the range and breadth of people put forward shows the depth of female tech talent across our region.
