With over 25 years of experience designing and delivering groundbreaking digital and data platforms, including across the healthcare ecosystem, Justin brings a wealth of insight to the Council. His work has driven significant improvements in patient outcomes and operational efficiencies, both nationally and internationally.
Justin’s alignment with techUK’s mission to promote innovation, collaboration, and positive change is unwavering. As a long-time advocate for techUK’s Health and Social Care programme, he is committed to leading discussions that translate into actionable solutions. His vision is centered on empowering patients to have control over their data while ensuring healthcare systems deliver equitable, high-quality care across all settings.
Notably, Justin led Informed Solutions engagement with NHSE to design and implement an innovative NHS-wide digital service for exchanging patient safety events. Powered by advanced data sciences, including machine learning, this service has been instrumental in driving patient safety improvements across the NHS. It earned a Silver medal at the prestigious 2023 World Innovation Technology Services Alliances (WITSA) Global Awards in Malaysia.
Additionally, Justin oversees Informed Solutions’ strategic work with the United Kingdom Health Security Agency (UKHSA), where his expertise is enhancing the agency’s digital capabilities. This work supports the UKHSA’s transition from pandemic response to a comprehensive health protection service.
The techUK Health and Social Care Council plays a vital role in shaping the healthcare technology landscape, with its priorities guided by techUK’s Ten Point Plan for Healthtech.
