Manchester June 23 2020: Informed Solutions announces that it has been selected to join Sellafield Ltd’s LINC procurement platform.
LINC provides Sellafield Ltd with direct access to innovative SMEs that can support and encourage both collaboration and delivery of innovative solutions that supports Sellafield's mission, which is to safely decommission nuclear facilities and site infrastructure on Europe’s largest nuclear site, including the most diverse range of nuclear facilities in the world situated on a single site.
Informed Solutions has worked working successfully with Sellafield for a number of years, initially supplying and developing the Land Quality System and analytics hub based on an InformedINSIGHT© open-standards based data integration and analytics platform. This platform helped turn AI-enabled data science into real-world decision support, providing a centralised Data Hub that integrated 40-years of historical records from 7 separate existing systems involved in the decommissioning programme. The Data hub and Land Quality System, a winner of the Nuclear Industry Technology Development Excellence Award, allows access to an integrated, rigorously quality assured evidence base of land quality information that informs the site remediation strategy and detailed planning and monitoring functions, as well as satisfying the industry regulator’s reporting and compliance requirements.
