Agency Insights Followup - what we have in store for 2019/2020

Our Agency Insights Report and the roundtable event that followed it taught us a few things.

It taught us that agencies and tech businesses are looking for...

  • Greater communication and collaboration between themselves and other businesses
  • Professional development and upskilling opportunities for their staff
  • More opportunities to raise their company profile and employer brand
  • More procurement opportunities
  • Ways to work more efficiently with clients
  • More talent looking to work in the sector

 

As such, Manchester Digital is committing itself to the following outputs, aimed at helping with all of the above.

Events

We will be looking to host events that will aim to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing and business opportunities.

A rough outline/timeline for the events we plan to host in 2019 / 2020 are as follows

  • May 28th 2019 Microsoft Advertising x Manchester Digital Agency Meetup - Join us as our partners Microsoft Advertising host an agency meetup.
  • June or July 2019 - A collaboration/speed dating event for agencies and niche tech businesses looking to increase their network and find people to work with
  • October 2019 - Meetup - Networking and knowledge share
  • March 2020 - A procurement event featuring companies looking to meet agencies/tech businesses

We're inviting agency figures to contribute to a collection of articles/guide in which we will educate non-tech businesses on how to be good clients and to ensure working with an agency runs smoothly.
