We sat down with Barclays Technology, based in Knutsford and a fantastic addition at our recent Digital Skills Talent Day to chat all things digital.
What does your organisation do?
Barclays Technology is the power behind our global operations. Here, we conceive of, design and develop the innovative technological solutions that protect our millions of customers and lead the world in digital banking. As digital banking, international transactions and security become increasingly central to all our lives, groundbreaking Barclays Technology becomes increasingly central to how the world works. We are redefining the future of finance. Our Barclays Technology Campus in Knutsford, Cheshire is a vital strategic centre, our transatlantic tech command centre and one of the largest centres for information security in the UK. Here at Radbroke, almost 4000 technical experts are redefining the future of finance.
What do you think is currently the biggest issue facing the digital and tech industry?

Tell us something we might not know about your company?
Radbroke Hall is one of the best kept secrets of the North West Tech Scene. Most people are vaguely aware we’re here but it always surprises people that we have almost 4000 staff! These cover a range of Tech roles from Software Engineering, Mobile Development, App Support, QA/Testing and Solutions Architecture right through to Project Management, Release Management and IT infrastructure. We’re a very Agile environment with a real focus on Tech first and being based in Knutsford offer a lovely alternative for those wanting a slightly more relaxing working environment while still working to produce world class solutions.
