This includes a Greater Manchester-wide mentoring programme whereby trained mentors are matched to young jobseekers.
If you can spare one hour per week to meet a young jobseeker, you can become a mentor! Research shows that mentoring relationships can lead to enhanced career development and advancement of the young person. For mentors, proven benefits include enhanced leadership and coaching skills, increased confidence, improved health and wellbeing, and greater career satisfaction.
Volunteer as a mentor for a young person – Free training will be offered to all potential mentors and we are keen for individuals, departments or even whole companies to become trained mentors!
