Brewd, which promotes the best microbreweries in the UK, is the brainchild of passionate beer lovers Scott Heslop, Chris Heslop and Anthony Beswick.
As a supporter of delicious tastes, exceptional flavours and some of the best microbreweries across the UK, Brewd is the answer to every beers lover’s needs; a home for a diverse selection of specialist brews, traditional ales and sensational craft beers to delight every taste bud.
For launch, Brewd has handpicked dozens of exciting and cutting edge brewers from York to London to be celebrated on the new website.
The hub sells some of the best beer from across the UK but also gives customers the chance to ‘meet the brewer’, watch videos of beer making from the mashing of hops to the final bottling and provides tasting notes for every beer featured.
"We wanted to create a website where anyone who loves beer could come to share in our passion for British microbreweries, and get their hands on some incredible beers and ales," says Scott Heslop. "We're flying the flag for British microbreweries, celebrating unique stories, fantastic brews and bringing everything together to share with a wider audience."
“Brewd’s network of brewers are passionate about crafting full favoured beers using natural ingredients from all over the world. These local brews deserve to be tasted!"
Brewd is breaking the mould by offering a ‘pick and mix’ box of beer, which allows customers to tailor their taste and handpick their selection of beers, from 6 bottles to 60.
The choice includes a wheat beer brewed with whole raspberries sourced from local allotments and strong beers inspired by 18th century monks that have brewed ales for thousands of years.
Because Greater Manchester and Cheshire is one of the UK’s leading lights for microbreweries Brewd is showcasing three outstanding breweries on the patch – Tatton Brewery, Stalybridge’s Ticketybrew and Macclesfield’s Red Willow.
Anthony said: “Brewd.com is breaking new ground because we’re not just a shop or a social network about beer. We bring these two elements together to create the ultimate beer website in the UK”.
“Brewd allows beer lovers to rate and review what they’ve drunk, discover new beers, connect with fans and follow the brewers behind the bottle”.
“We are catering to an increasing number of the drinking population who want more flavour, more complexity and more food compatibility in their beer”.
“We are offering Great British Beers for people to try, and helping them to support their British Brewers too”.
