CTI Digital to Invest £500K into Extended E-Commerce Offering

After growing to a £5M+ turnover in 2018, Full Service Digital Agency CTI Digital plans to invest £500k into enhancing its e-commerce offering. After significant e-commerce wins and success with Magento clients over the past year, the investment looks to grow and improve the department and their end-to-end service capabilities.

The investment is being channelled into a new Head of E-Commerce role along with expanding E-commerce Support, DevOps, and Retainer Services, with several roles to be filled primarily at the Manchester head office.

With a wide and established digital service range, covering CMS, E-Commerce, Marketing and Creative, the agency has won many substantial clients, including High Street TV, Supreme Nutrition, and Merlin Entertainments. The agency is now keen to bolster the E-Commerce team with a multi-disciplinary selection of experts, to provide full-service consultancy across all platforms. Having expanded into Shopify development in early 2017, CTI aim to work with a range of e-commerce solutions, beyond their success with Magento 1&2.

Investment in the E-Commerce team will extend CTI’s ability to offer impartial evaluation of a range of technologies, delivering a strategic approach for each client’s business requirements. Offering flexible e-commerce solutions, combined with digital consultancy and marketing, will position CTI as a thriving end-to-end provider for global clients.

“Increasingly, our customers are working with us on a strategic level throughout their business and not just our strength in development. As our team grows from 80 to our target of 100 over the next 6 months, this will give us the ability to impact a client’s bottom line quicker and more effectively than ever before, ensuring that our clients still get the service level they have come to expect." states Nick Rhind CEO.

The investment will also help CTI Digital to build partner relationships with other platform vendors, gain accreditations, and formalise true global services with clients.

“We’ve already made leaps and bounds into being able to offer a true Enterprise Solution – we have the warts-and-all experience over several years working at the cutting edge of technology, but this investment puts us on a path to supplementing this experience and increasing the capabilities of a skilled workforce. We will be able to champion a truly cross-functional team, that not only delivers world-class leading software but also can implement it to best effect when meeting business objectives,” concludes Dave Beswick MD.
