Were you lucky enough to attend #DigiRev18?
If so, we hope you had a great time networking, learning and connecting with and alongside Greater Manchester’s digital and tech community. Not able to make it? Don’t worry, we’ve created this handy round up so you don’t feel out the loop.
Firstly, the day was kicked off by a talk from our friends over at GCHQ.
We were itching to tell people that GCHQ, our newest members, would be in attendance but for security reasons, were unable to do so. That's why we're delighted to now be able to provide an update on what was said on the day.
GCHQ at DigiRev
GCHQ discussed the organisation’s history before bringing things right up to the present day by explaining why GCHQ has decided to set up a new home in Manchester.
A spokesman for the organisation told the crowd that
‘Manchester gives us the opportunity to try something new. We want to work with all of you in the room today.’
In a nutshell, GCHQ wanted it known that they have come to the region to contribute and collaborate.
They realise that Manchester offers unique partnership opportunities, not to mention access to a rich, diverse and ever-growing talent pool.
Want to get in touch with GCHQ? Why not reach out on Twitter? They don’t bite, we promise.
Digital Her Roadshow
We’re proud to announce that alongside our key sponsors GCHQ, BJSS and Auto Trader, we’ll be taking #DigitalHer out on the road.
