Introduction To Web Development - Training Workshop by Huddle Digital

Join Huddle & Sync on the 10th May, as they invite the wonderful Tom Parson down to share his expertise and deliver an insightful training workshop on the Introduction to Web Development.
This is a hands-on workshop to introduce beginners into web development, where you can get stuck in and learn the basics of coding a website. Learn to write code in the 3 key programming languages that make up all websites: HTML, CSS and Javascript.
Perhaps you have an interest in learning to code but don't know where to start? Maybe you're looking to work more effectively with technical colleagues? Or are you looking for a complete career change? No matter what your reason is, everybody is welcome and no prior coding experience is necessary - so feel free to come on down and start learning!

Adopting Personal Health Records (PHRs) in the NHS: towards a regional approach for Greater Manchester by The University of Manchester

Personal Health Records (PHRs) enable people to view their own medical records, book appointments, and upload and manage their own health information. NHS England is encouraging health care providers to adopt PHR solutions as way for patients to better control and manage their health and care.
This GM Connected Health Ecosystem meeting is a joint event organised by the Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester and Health Innovation Manchester. It brings together stakeholders from Greater Manchester (patients, health care providers, policy makers and industry partners) to explore and discuss their views and expectations of PHRs. This will inform strategic thinking in Greater Manchester about how PHRs can optimise patients’ experience and opportunities for improved services and outcomes.
The meeting will be in-person. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

After the success and universally positive feedback of the last event in April, dotClassroom are pleased to announce their nex networkingt event, on May 25th.
The venue for the next event is being confirmed; it will either be the same location or another Colony location, TBC.
The event will again be focused very much on startups and, as such, we'll be asking founders, startups, entrepreneurs and digital disrupters to talk.
However, this is the prefect event for agency and startup owners, designers, developers, marketers and project / product managers.
As with the first event, there will be a mix of lightning talks, 60 second standups, a 'Founder's Circle' for AV presentations / pitches, a quiet area for deeper chats and networking / introductions.
