Each week we interview one of our members to find out a bit more about them and their work in the Greater Manchester digital sphere. This week we're speaking with digital transformation software development consultancy, 60 Innovations.
What does your organisation do?
We provide digital transformation and software development services to the tech industry. We take the approach that you need to assess and affect up to 5 areas of a business to achieve digital transformation, or technical maturity. The areas are people, process, technology, strategy & vision, and culture.
Our values are: innovate - perform - deliver
What do you think is currently the biggest issue facing the digital and tech industry?
Legislation about data and its use. The perception of AI and its potential for misuse. Lack of volume of quality recruits into the industry.
What is your organisation’s biggest achievement?
We are a really young organisation in terms of duration of existence however, we have crafted & initiated a really organisationally large scale digital evolution project in Carfinance247. It has been a great success so far with far-reaching positive impacts for both the business and the people who work in the business
What would you consider to be your organisations biggest challenge?
So we have had a great first year, repeating that would be phenomenal. Hacking into growth and finding opportunities is always a challenge, however, we are aiming to address that with some key partnerships we have formed with both local, national and global partners.
What do you think the future looks like for Manchester’s digital and tech sector?
We think it is really bright and positive, the city grows on a daily basis. The city will have the usual scaling issues to overcome but looking out of the window of our office, it's certainly having a good go!
Tell us something we might not know about your company?
We organise and sponsor two meetups in Manchester “Digital Transformers” & “Scala Manchester”
