Manchester Digital is delighted to announce the launch of our new Job Board API, making it easier and quicker for members to advertise their latest roles with the Greater Manchester digital and tech community.
With the cost of recruitment and job advertising increasing, the Manchester Digital Job Board is an essential resource for our members, enabling you to list as many digital and tech vacancies as you wish on a Job Board that receives over 6,000 visitors per month.
We know that many of you can be recruiting for a number of roles at any given time, and our Job Board is just one place that these vacancies are listed. This is why we’ve developed the new API, connecting our Job Board with other platforms that you use so that roles will automatically be shared on the Manchester Digital website when you list them elsewhere.
The API has been developed to be as user friendly as possible for those who have experience connecting API’s and so we would advise enlisting a developer if possible.
We also need to note that the Jobs Board API can only currently connect to applicant tracking systems with an open API.
Unfortunately, some applicant tracking systems could require additional development work from us in order to connect (which may come with a fee). At this moment in time it isn't feasible to ensure that the API works with all systems due to the high number of different applicant tracking systems being used by members.
To help us understand which applicant tracking platforms are being used by members, we are asking that you let us know which platform you are using via the form below. We’ll then send you the API instructions.
As we’re sure you can appreciate, there are many platforms for listing vacancies and it is not currently feasible for us to ensure the API integrates successfully with all of them. Please check if your applicant tracking system has an open API, as this will save you time.
If your applicant tracking system doesn’t have an open API, but you’d still like to connect your Jobs Board, then we’d welcome the opportunity to know what system you are using for future development work.
