Join the Movement: Where Are All the Black Women in Tech?

This International Women’s Day, we’re calling on Black women in tech who live or work in the North West to help shape the future of workplace culture in the industry.

We’re launching Phase 2 of "Where Are All the Black Women in Tech?", an initiative to co-create a vision of an inclusive, empowering, and supportive tech ecosystem—and we need your voice.

Why Sign Up?

  • Participate in upcoming workshops to share your experiences and shape real change.
  • Stay informed about research findings, events, and key insights.
  • Support the movement by engaging with the work and spreading awareness.

Who Can Sign Up?

  • We are looking for Black women in tech who live or work in the North West and are interested in shaping the future of workplace culture while advocating for systemic change. Specifically, we welcome:
  • Black women in tech at all career stages—whether full-time, part-time, a founder, freelancer, or contractor.
  • Those working in technical or non-technical roles—from developers and designers to HR and leadership.
  • Anyone with lived experience of workplace challenges who wants to contribute to solutions.
  • You must live or work in the North West of England (Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria).
  • No research experience needed—just a willingness to share your insights in a safe, collaborative space.

Workshops will take place in April and May

  • Two in-person workshops in Manchester city centre
  • One online workshop
