Kick Start Your Global Growth

In today’s fast evolving, digital driven marketplace, with the winds of Brexit in their sails, UK businesses are faced with a multi-billion pound global opportunity to trade abroad.

However, only one in four British companies currently exports. Many major organisations with considerable turnover, a great product and huge potential lack the in-house knowledge or expertise to develop a clear, confident vision or roadmap for international growth.

That’s where the Greater Manchester has enlisted the help of a series of experts to help by dispensing their advice and expertise in a special, exporting-focussed event to take place in May. Ecommerce consultant, Adam Pritchard is one of the specialists on hand to help.

As the director of Manchester digital agency Project Octo, he has many years of experience in providing consulting advice on the various logistical, legal, technical and cultural challenges that businesses face as they expand into potentially lucrative foreign markets.

The Meet The Expert event will be an opportunity for business leaders to learn, and ask questions about the opportunity. Other experts will also be on hand, covering a variety of topics from export and import finance to managing risk, handling foreign currencies, and much more.

Consultants on the panel will be able to dispense expertise on the specific territories, including China, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Australia, Germany, France, USA, Canada, India, Middle East and Latin America.

The GM Chamber ‘Meet The Expert’ event takes places 9:00am - 15:30pm, 5 May 2017. Greater Manchester Chamber, Elliot House 151 Deansgate M3 3WD.

Both members and non-members are welcome to attend.  For more details, contact Amy Cawley at the Chamber at amy.cawley@gmchamber.co.uk
