United City is a new alliance of major businesses, which has been formed to support a £3bn investment in public transport for Greater Manchester.
We represent the forward-thinking companies and organisations who understand that the economic future of our city depends on a sustainable road and public transport system.
As highlighted in an independent report, businesses like ours have created over 50,000 jobs in the last five years and we are forecast to create 210,000 new jobs in the next 15 years - but 30,000 of these future jobs are at risk from congestion.
