We help companies get the most out of their digital offering, by providing design, development and digital marketing services.
What do you think is currently the biggest issue facing the digital and tech industry?
Hiring, closely followed by net neutrality issues in the US.
Could you expand on the subject of net neutrality?
Manchester based companies are unlikely to be affected in the short term, but there are a couple of ways they might be in the future. US net neutrality regulations disappearing might lead to US citizens internet being limited or slowed outside of US ISPs promoted content. If any Manchester based companies are exporting services over the internet to the US, this could greatly effect their ability to reach US users, existing or otherwise. This could either be by access being entirely blocked or degradation of connection speeds making access difficult.
Many consider the internet to be a human right, given it's power to connect people and importance in global information dissemination. Net neutrality is essential to ensure that we all remain on an equal footing in relation to our access to the internet and all that is has to offer.
What is your organisation's biggest achievement?
Expanding our portfolio to include 3 national and international clients, all of whom were referred to us.
What would you consider to be your organisation's biggest challenge?
Hiring and growing the team with quality talent (beyond contractors), in a sensible and responsible way, to support increasing number of active projects and products offered.
What do you think the future looks like for Manchester's digital and tech sector?
We expect to see more decentralised digital offerings with networks of smaller companies appearing over the coming years, and larger agencies will become slower to adapt and innovate.
