Located in the heart of the city, right next to Piccadilly Gardens and close to the Central Library, is the Manchester Kadampa Buddhist Centre.
The brick building is one of the latest sites in Manchester's City Centre to get access to ultrafast wifi through our Telcom Unity programme. Telcom Unity is already available in several community spaces in Manchester city centre, offering subsidised ultrafast wifi to empower local associations that contribute to the evolution of the city.
The programme has previously activated the Craft and Design centre, bringing modern high-speed wifi to the building in the Northern Quarter. A similar scheme has been extended to several cafés where creative communities gather, to make Manchester city centre a place where entrepreneurship and artistry can thrive. Telcom Unity will gradually extend its presence, especially in the Northern Quarter, in the near future.
Unity wifi is delivered through Telcom's wireless and fibre hybrid network, making it possible to connect buildings to fibre-speed without having to dig up the streets. Telcom's standard business plans offer up to 1Gbps, but speeds are available up to 10Gbps.
