New brand-led design agency enters Manchester’s creative scene

The specialism of BGN will be to ground every piece of branding, design and digital work that it produces in research and strategy. This is as true for singular brand refreshes or website design and development projects, as complete end-to-end brand repositioning, website redesign and brand rollout projects.

The new agency, based in Bruntwood’s Neo building on Charlotte Street, has already started working with several clients in sectors including architecture, technology, FMCG, hospitality, fashion and financial services.

The BGN acronym comes from the initials of the agency’s directors, who sought to establish a name that would be reflective of the clarity in the agency’s stated approach and vision – one of collaboration, accountability and of bolstering their clients’ bottom lines.

The six-strong team comprises design, development and copywriting talent in the form of Jason Flynn, John Healey and Jonny Edge, who bring with them a combined 15 years’ of experience. Paul Bailey, client services director and co-founder, said: “We’re grateful for all of the experience and opportunities we have had up to this point, but the time was right to set up on our own and put our combined experience to use.

Antonio Giansante, operations director and co-founder, added: “We have a clear vision for the agency focused on simplifying business problems and finding creative solutions for our clients. We can’t wait to get in front of people, explain our vision and take them through our new processes. As we launch, we would like to invite any similar-minded brands, of any size, to get in touch and benefit from our brand-led approach.”
