Manchester Digital’s MD Katie Gallagher has been nominated for Computer Weekly’s Most Influential Woman in Tech.
There were more than 650 women in tech put forward for the longlist, compared to just 160 when the first longlist was published back in 2017.
Katie has been shortlisted for the accolade and selected by a panel of judges to make it onto the shortlist of 50 women in tech.
Now readers' votes will be counted alongside those of the judges to reach the final decision and name the Most Influential Woman in Tech.
The overall winner will be announced at Computer Weekly’s annual diversity in tech event, run in partnership with Nash Squared, in London on October 11, 2023.
Katie said: “I’m honoured to have been nominated for this list, as well as being selected for the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Technology. It’s very pleasing to see so many amazing women across the whole tech industry in the UK in senior positions and I hope we continue to see more women developing their careers in tech.”
