Need Help With Your Tweeting, Posting and Blogging?

The Juice Academy - the digital training arm of Tangerine PR - has announced it has secured funding from Creative Skillset to launch the first ever graduate version of its multi award-winning social media apprenticeship.

The programme aims to create at least 15 roles in businesses in the North West (leading businesses such as BJL, Smoking Gun PR and Social Chain are already signed up).  The Juice Academy will recruit and place graduates in the roles and will then train them in the essential social media skills businesses need.

The chosen graduates will be placed with their employers for six months, while attending The Juice Academy one day per week for the first three months for training by practising digital specialists from the Tangerine team, as well as leading industry guest speakers. This will be followed by a three month intensive period with their employers and a final assessment at the end of month six.

The hope is that employers will be so impressed with their graduates they'll offer them a permanent role at the end of the programme (as 93% of The Academy's apprentice employers do) but there's no obligation to do so.

Employers will pay graduates a tax-free training allowance of £1,000 pcm (equivalent to a salary of approx. £13,000).

The training will cover the key skills and knowledge a social media/digital practitioner needs to be an essential part of any marketing team or creative agency, as well as the 'softer skills' of being a member of a busy team, such as resilience, communication skills and core office skills.

To find out more about the programme or to apply for a graduate, employers should visit: www.juiceacademy.co.uk, email amy.coney@juiceacademy.co.uk or call 0161 817 6600. Graduates should visit: www.juiceacademy.co.uk and follow application instructions. The application deadline to apply is 30th October 2015.
